Hamid Dabashi writes: "How different are Bill Maher's racist screeds from what a mass murderer wrote in his 'manifesto'[?]...Someone explain to HBO executives the difference between that hate speech and this by the mass murderer in New Zealand..."
Dabashi's assumption here is that if someone is violent in support of an idea, that idea is discredited and must be silenced. This is a monstrously hypocritical assumption for him to make, given the fact that he is a believer in the Qur'an, which has incited many of its adherents to violence for 1,400 years, and is likely also a socialist, that is, a believer in another idea that has incited innumerable acts of violence.
But Hamid Dabashi and his ilk care nothing for consistency. They see in the Christchurch mosque massacres a chance to silence all criticism of jihad mass murder, Sharia oppression, and mass Muslim migration into the West, and they're making the most of it....
