Columbia University professor Hamid Dabashi publishes anti-Semitic diatribe on social media

On May 8, 2018, Columbia University professor Hamid Dabashi of the Middle Eastern, South Asian, and African Studies (MESAAS) department, who is a virulent critic of Israel with a long history of anti-Semitic activities, published new anti-Semitic diatribe about Jews and Israelis on social media. Among other vitriolic statements, he said, “Every dirty treacherous ugly and pernicious act happening in the world just wait for a few days and the ugly name of “Israel” will pop up as a key actor in the atrocities", as reported by The Algemeiner, Fox News and others.
